ECOZEPT will be represented again this year at Biofach with several trendsetting topics.
At the International Conference " Model organic region - engine in rural areas " on 12 February, Dr. Burkhard Schaer will discuss on the possible contribution of the so-called Ökomodellregionen in Germany as well as in France. The conference is organised by the Bavarian State Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry (12.02.2020, 17:00 - 18:30 h, Location: Hall Tokyo, NCC Ost).
On Thursday, February 13, Dr. Denise Gider will be exploring the question of sustainable packaging. The title of the event is "Sustainable packaging: how market actors put scientific findings into practice" and, together with Stefaan Deraeve (CEO La vie est belle) and Dr. Cornelia Stramm (Head of Materials Development Fraunhofer IVV), they will present results from the GLOPACK project on innovative and sustainable food packaging (13.02.2020, 12:00 - 12:45 h, location: Oslo area, NCC Ost)
Also on 13 February, Dr. Burkhard Schaer will present findings on unpackaged organic products in French shops of the organic specialized retail. Together with Dr. Melanie Kroeger (Scientific Associate HNEE Eberswalde) and Gregor Witt (Chairman Unverpackt e.V./ Aunt Olga) the markets for unpackaged organic products between France and Germany will be compared (13.02.2020, 14:00 - 14:45h, location: Forum Fachhandel, hall 9 stand 9-348)
On February 14, Michael Böhm together with Dr. Christine Krämer (head of mareg) will present trends, opportunities and challenges of direct selling. The event will be completed by a presentation of Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft (AMI) on the latest figures on direct marketing (Diana Schaak, Market Analyst and Christine Rampold, Product Manager): 14.02.2020, 12:00 - 12:45 h, location: Room Riga, NCC Ost.
