All about the European Organic Market in a new practical compendium

An international team of organic market specialists profiles the booming markets in 27 countries.

The ambitious project of Ecozept, bioVista and ORA (Organic Retailers Association) compiles country-specific data about the organic markets in Europe. In addition to an analysis of the overall economic background and a synopsis of existing studies, the 16 co-authors pioneered in describing the role and the structure of the organic markets.

From Scandinavia to Sicily, from Portugal to Turkey, from Poland to Romania: organic sales boom and the new report shows the underlying forces, the protagonists and perspectives of this growth.
Project manager Susan van Osch: „Our compendium provides a fast but exhaustive insight into the European market and shows international tendencies as well as national particularities. It’s a new important tool for any management decision”.

The report was published in May 2008. It addresses retailers, wholesalers, processors, importers, control bodies, organizations and market observers.
